Strathblane Heritage Society

About

The objectives of the Society are to:

Provide a forum for local residents and the wider community to learn, enjoy and understand about the origins, geography, natural history, social history and environmental characteristics of the local area (essentially the Parish of Strathblane).

Ensure that historical items collected by the Society (e.g., information, documents, artifacts, electronic files, etc) are preserved and passed on to future generations.

Encourage members of the local community to develop an interest and understanding of local history.

Other information

Strathblane Heritage has six events planned this winter, on the third Monday of the months of September, October, November, January, February and March.
All at the Village Club, 20-22 Glasgow Road, Blanefield
7:30 pm, doors open at 7pm
Free refreshments and a chance to chat after each meeting.
Membership is £10 / year. Guests are welcome £3 per meeting/
