Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society invites you to their Edinburgh 'Doors Open' event at Cammo Estate, near Cramond, where they have been excavating the ruins and grounds, including the stables and walled garden, of a once stately 17th century mansion. Join in with the digging, see the finds, take a guided tour and learn about some of the characters who lived there. In addition to the excavations, the estate is now a nature reserve and is a delightful place to explore, walk the dog, have a picnic or enjoy a coffee from the van near the Lodge.
