Event Details

Meetings are usually held on the last Thursday of the winter months (October to April) at 7.30 pm in the Raploch Community Campus, Drip Road, Stirling.

Meetings are free for members. We ask visitors to pay £2.50 towards costs.

- Most lectures are illustrated.
- An Induction Loop is in operation during presentations.
- There is usually an opportunity for discussion and questions
- there is a lift to the upper floor (where meetings are held).

The speakers, whether academics, professionals or local enthusiasts, are all knowledgeable and lively and have something new and interesting to say about Stirling and its past. There is a chance to chat after the meetings.

There is some street parking near this Community Campus and quite a large car park to the left of the building and fairly near Sainsbury’s Supermarket. This Campus is also on a regular bus route from Stirling town centre. More information re local bus routes is available from Stirling bus station.
