North UK Mills Group - January 2027
When & Where
Event Details
These free, online meetings are for anyone with an interest in mill heritage, millwrighting skills, and milling culture.
Join us online in January as the Knockando Woolmill Trust shares its experience of preserving, protecting, and sharing the living heritage of one of Scotland’s oldest working textile mills.
Knockando Woolmill in Moray is a Grade A listed site with a recorded history dating back to 1784. Restored by the Trust to full working order, the woollen mill reopened in 2012 and won the Europa Nostra EU Prize for Cultural Heritage in 2016.
There will be the opportunity to share thoughts, insights, and to network following the Trust’s presentation.
