Places of Worship in Scotland

About this Organisation

The organisation was set up in 2000 as the Scottish Churches Heritage Research Project to record images and information of all places of worship in Scotland, past and present. This information was to be compiled into a database and from that an on-line gazetteer was to be created. At present there are over 10,000 sites on the website which are continually updated and new sites added. The organisation is now titled "Places of Worship in Scotland".
