On 2 October, 2015, Carmyllie Heritage unveiled a cairn close to the Carmyllie Community hall to allow the visitor to be aware of the past history of the Parish. There are three plaques displaying the history of the Church, the quarry industry and the Landlords/farming and one plaque showing a map of the location.
