Event Details

One day conference run jointly by The Grantown Society and The Grantown Museum as part of the ground-breaking exhibition "I Richard Waitt, Picture Drawer - Portraits of a Highland Clan 1713 - 1733". Speakers will bring together research and understanding of the artist Richard Waitt, portraiture in the 18th century and cultural contexts of the period.
Speakers include: George Dixon, Andrew Mackenzie, Hugh Cheape, Malcolm Jones and James Holloway.
The Grantown Society AGM will be held during the lunch break.
