Blitz Exhibition and Memorial Services at Clydebank

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Blitz, Clydebank Library will have a special commemorative exhibition in its Heritage Centre (basement of the library) which will open on Saturday 12th March, and run for the whole of the year.
The library worked with a group from the community, gathering stories and memories of the Blitz, and donations of material which will be displayed in the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open to everyone, with free entry. It will be open during library opening hours:
Monday-Thursday 9.30am-7.55pm
Friday 9.30am - 4.55pm
Saturday 9.30am-4.55pm
In addition to the library's exhibition there will be a Blitz Memorial Service at Dalnottar Cemetery on Saturday 12 March (time still to be confirmed), before a wreath-laying ceremony at Solidarity Plaza opposite the Town Hall.
Kilbowie St Andrew's Church will hold a memorial service in the church at 2pm on Sunday 13 March.
