Cupar Heritage
About this Organisation
Cupar Heritage is the local history society for Cupar and surrounding area. We run a museum and heritage centre, hold monthly talks on historical subjects between March and November and organise occasional outings.
Cupar Museum and Heritage Centre was set up in response to calls made over many years for a town museum. The museum is located at Cupar railway station, a historically important example of station buildings, that dates from 1847. At the museum we tell the story of Cupar through a semi-permanent display and special exhibitions on topics of local interest.
A separate room provides space for the preparation of exhibitions and for care of the collections.
We accept donations of artefacts, ephemera or pictures, all maintained as a collection for the community.
