A 12-minute 46-second documentary film by OrbitalFlyers investigating what happened to the heart of Robert the Bruce after his death in 1329. Beginning at Dunfermline Abbey, where Bruce’s body was buried, the film follows the tradition that Sir James Douglas carried the king’s heart towards the Holy Land, the fatal battle at Teba in Spain and the heart’s reported return to Melrose Abbey.
