The Archaeology, History & Natural History of Bute and the surrounding area is our remit. We run an independent accredited Museum where we house a range of artefacts, we have an extensive archive housed in our Library where our team of dedicated volunteers can assist with searches of the archive both general and genealogical. Fortnightly meetings through the winter period offer talks on a wide range of pertinent topics, in addition fieldwork by members is undertaken. The Transactions are published every four years and contain papers on a range of topics relevant to the purposes of the organisation.
