National Library of Scotland
About
The National Library of Scotland is Scotland's largest reference library. As a legal deposit library we collect a copy of every item published in the UK and Ireland, free of charge, whether in print or digital formats. This creates the National Published Archive, which is the home of our published cultural heritage. Local publications are an important and often unique part of this collection. If you have produced any publication, no matter how small, we would be delighted to hear from you so that we can add them to our collections.
The collection numbers 24 million items, including manuscripts, maps, music, film, newspapers and journals, books and leaflets, websites and Twitter pages. It is your collection, and they are available here for all to use. Please visit our website at www.nls.uk [1] or contact Jennifer Giles (j.giles@nls.uk [2] or phone 031-623-3910) for more information.
