The Auchterarder & District Local History Association was founded in 1987, for anyone with an interest in local history.

The Association has a programme of interesting talks at monthly meetings. These are normally held at 7.30pm on the 3rd Friday of the month from September to April in the Aytoun Hall on the High Street.

We also organise guided tours, walks, outings and visits to places of historic interest

We produce leaflets,maps and other publications such as the recent major new history of Scotland from the perspective of our town "Set on a Hill" written by award winning writer and broadcaster Robin Bell(available in local shops and at meetings).
