History on Your Doorstep: History and Family History Fair 2019
When & Where
South Ayrshire's Local and Family History Fair will this year be taking over the Carnegie Library, Ayr, for a full-day programme of informative talks from respected guest speakers.
Visitors can also browse a variety of stalls offering advice and guidance on family history, tracing your roots and exploring local and national history.
There will also be a showcase of work from South Ayrshire Secondary School's "History Challenge 2019", as well as the work of Kingcase P7 pupils from their project, Found Photos: Prestwick Community Past, Present, Future.
In addition, there will be a Pop-Up Museum and a competition to test your local knowledge!
